Chris Peris PNA:
Chris is a practicing Professional National Accountant,
a member
of the National Institute of Accountants and
former Queensland
Divisional President. Chris started work as a Tax Consultant in July of 1980. For all but a five month period, Chris has spent his entire working career in Income Tax. During that period he has accumulated experience in various tax software programs, including MYOB, Quick Books and the Handisoft stable of products. As a registered tax agent for nearly 25 years, Chris has accumulated an immeasurable amount of experience and knowledge that he has used to the benefit of all his clients. |

Leo Jarvis PNA :
After many years of dedicated service as an
accountant, tax agent and author of numerous tax
and accounting publications, Leo Jarvis has retired
from the business world.
Twenty-five of those years were spent at United Tax & Accounting as founder and business partner to
Chris Peris. So it is with great sadness that we
announce Leo's departure.
All the staff here at United Tax & Accounting would
like to wish Leo all the best in his retirement. And we
are sure that many of our clients who knew Leo offer
the same sentiments. He will be greatly missed. |

David Shaw CPA :
It is with great pleasure now that we introduce and welcome David Shaw as a new partner in association with United Tax & Accounting. David has many years of accounting experience with
extensive knowledge in commerce, industry and
public practice accounting. During his accounting
career he has held senior accounting roles with
Deloittes, Pacific Dunlop, Boral and National Foods.
Prior to starting the WSC group David was a Director and CEO of the Pickles Auctions Group.
David has also developed an extensive property
expertise from the property investor level to corporate
property development of both new development and second-hand property refurbishments. David has a
degree in Business (Accounting Major with the University
of Technology), is a CPA with a Public Practice Certificate, a registered tax agent and an accredited loan writer. |

Paula Dark ANIA:
We warmly welcome Paula Dark as the newest member of our team at United Tax & Accounting. Paula takes on the role of Assistant Accountant working in conjunction with Chris Peris in the preparation of Business Accounts, Tax Returns and related matters.
Wiith 28 years industry experience Paula has held positions such as Senior Accounts Officer and Finance Manager. During this time she has worked for firms which include CSR, Monier and Brisbane Airport Corporation.
Paula has completed an Advanced Diploma of Accounting and is currently studying a Masters of Commerce to be a PNA. She is an Associate Member of the National Institute of Accountants. In addition to extensive experience in software packages such as Quickbooks, MYOB and Handisoft, Paula has also trained clients on MYOB.
